Summer Heights High

image I'm a couple of weeks behind on posting this, given that the series has now finished airing on TV, however I'm sure you could find them online with a quick Google search if you have missed it and if not, the BBC will be sure to repeat it!.

Anyway's, we have been watching the exploits of Mr G, Ja'mie, and Jonah of Summer Heights High on BBC3 and it has to be said, its the best comedy show we have seen in recent years, in fact we have decided to buy the DVD!

Summer Heights High is an outrageously funny Australian high school comedy created and written by Chris Lilley. The mockumentary series documents the ups and downs of three different characters, all played by Lilley, over one school term at Summer Heights High

The show revolves around the lives of the aforementioned, however in our opinion Mr G is the most significant character, and produces the most giggles. Throughout the series he is producing the Summer Heights High Play, or should I say "Arena Spectacular". The show starts off being a rather simple production, however after the death of a student due to taking a drugs overdose, and the sudden departure of the head of drama, Mr G takes things in a whole new direction deciding to make a play about the deceased students life, and even though he couldn't remember her, how important a part he played in her life. This is where the fun starts

Below Chris Lilley, as Mr G is at the Logie awards, where he performs numbers from his Summer Heights High "Arena Spectacular". Enjoy!

PS.. Look out for the highly un-PC "Special Child"
